How did I live without this? I love this book!
And on top of that, I signed up for Daily Knitting and in doing so, I received a free pattern, the Caspian Sea Socks . . .

Help, I still can't figure out how to sign up for the Daily Knitting e-mail!!!! :(
Actually, these socks don't take that much time. I finished the first one in less than a week, and I am well into the second one. They look complicated, but the yarn is thicker than usual sock yarn, and I'm knitting mine on #3 needles. The pattern is also very well written, with lots of detailed instructions, so you are never left wondering "now what?". So I highly recommend the Caspian Sea Socks - they are not as daunting as they appear at first sight!
